About the game

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a first—person horror story about a stalker who decided to try his luck and test his nerves! His path leads to a gloomy, time—forgotten place — an old, abandoned bunker hidden deep underground.

It is said that secret experiments were once conducted here, which the world will never know about. And now this place has become something more than just a bunker — it has become a trap for those who dare to set foot on its territory!

You play as a lonely explorer armed with only a flashlight, courage, and a battered old diary. Inside the bunker, you will find more than just darkness and desolation — you will encounter nightmarish creatures whose origin is shrouded in mystery. Every step can be the last, every sound is a harbinger of impending doom!

Comment from the developer

The predecessor of the game «The Object 474» was the map «zm_bunker» for Zombie Mod, created on the basis of the legendary Counter-Strike 1.6. This map was dark, gloomy and sinister — a maze of narrow corridors, deep shadows and many nooks where both players and zombies could hide.

The main goal was not just to arrange a shootout with the living dead, but to create a real sense of fear and suspense, in which every step through a dark room made the heart beat faster.

Much later, there was a desire to develop this idea and turn it into a full-fledged independent project capable of conveying the very atmosphere of fear and tension that was originally conceived, spice up this idea with a plot and release a full-fledged game.

You can download the «zm_bunker» map for Counter-Strike 1.6 from the link below. To install the map, download the file «zm_bunker.bsp» must be placed in the catalog with the game in the folder: \cstrike\maps

The first demo video of the game. At this stage, the project is still a bit raw, but there are plans to optimize performance and add post processing to improve visual perception.

I wanted to implement the opening of a huge hydraulic hermetic door in the game, as it is implemented in games such as Half-Life or the opening of a shelter in Fallout. I tried to make everything as epic and atmospheric as possible, I hope I succeeded.
